Clifford Sackett
I am an avid outdoorsman with a total of over 40 years experience
in fishing for various species of fish from Largemouth
and Smallmouth Bass and Bluegills, to Lingcod and Halibut.
I have been fishing in both amateur and professional
Bass tournaments since 1982. My first Federation win was in 1982
utilizing a 16 ft. Bass Tracker with a 40 HP Mercury engine.
I have fished the B.A.S.S. Western Invitational
since it's conception with the first event in 1997 held at Lake
Powell, Page, Arizona. I also fish WON Bass tournaments as well
as various team tournaments and Federation/club tournaments.
I utilize my fishing skills to teach the fundamentals
of Bass Fishing and etiquette at a local high school and also
at various seminars and outdoor expos in Utah and surrounding
states. I am always available to help the novice sportsman and
eager to share my experiences and knowledge.
I hold the current Utah State Catch & Release
record for Smallmouth Bass which I caught on July 4th, 2003 using
a Mojo drop-shot rig.
