SUBJECT: Mojo Rock Hopper Weight System
Prior to the Bass Classic held in Charlotte,NC, I
always used your
carolina rig weights. At the Classic I purchased your
new Rock Hopper weight
system. I tried the system at my club tournament in
September and could not
believe how sensitive it was to feel the fish bite.
I ended up winning the
tournament that day. I even provided my partner with
your weight and made a
believer out of him. He placed second. Two weeks ago
I went pre fishing for
a tournament my buddy and I will be fishing this weekend.
We started
carolina rigging and I caught a 5lb largemouth. Things
were nice until I
broke my rod in half on a bass that my buddy saw that
probably would of
weighed in at close to 10lbs. I provided my buddy
with your weight and he
had a great day fishing. This last weekend fished
a club tournament with my
son-in-law as my partner. I sold him on your product
as we were catching
largemouth and spotted bass all weekend. Thanks for
this weight system.

I use your baits about 80% of the time and have great
success with them, more so than any others and it
is suprising how they seem to produce when the others
dont" a little background. Previously I was a
member of North East Bassmasters for several years
and had some exceptional catches out of lake cobassecontee
in Winthrop ME. with your products. I took a 10.5/
9.8/ 9.5/ and a 9.3 lb largemouth all in one summer
and I carried a daily average on the lakes of ME.
of 24lbs per trip out. However I have been out of
the fishing scene for a few years now due to a severe
accident caused by a semi truck hitting my truck,
thus loosing my truck and boat and putting me into
the dissabled list. I have been able to work myself
back to being able to fish agian and just picked up
a new (used bassboat) not the best, but it's a 195
astroglass with a 150 jhonson. I am now living in
Abbeville SC. so I have to relearn alot as to the
lakes and types of fishing and how to work with my
limitations, but I am planning to get back into the
tournament scene shortly". I am out on the lakes
weekly now learning and starting to get it together
and I was hopeing you might send me a patch for my
new jacket if possible". If not, can I purchase
one?? I really like your products and I think more
people around here should try them, but they all seem
to use a lot of junk that is available in this area. There
is a serious lack of tackle dealers in this area even
though we have 8 lakes within 1 hr drive, some as
big as acers so you would think I could find almost
anything. The few stores do carry a fair selection,
but mostly off colors or brands and I have tried some
of their products and they are just not as good in
many ways so I order through Cabelas or Basspro. I
would like to thank you for making such a high quality
product that works so well and for setting the newest
trends and never settling for just remaking the same
old thing like the other companies seem to do!

SUBJECT: New rigging that\'s working
I have come up with a rig that\'s really working.
I make a
drop-shot
with a large Mojo sinker on the bottom and a smaller
one about 4 to 6
inches
up from it, then the hook 6 to 12 inches up from the
small sinker.
When you
shake it up and down, the bait moves faster and more
eratic causing
strikes... my friend used it yesterday at Diamond
Valley and sleyed
them.
Try it...
Danny
PS... I caught the 13-7 at the Delta in the BASS Federation
State
Classic with a Mojo drop-shot rig.
A Reply From Larry!
Danny!
Thanks for sharing your Great idea!
If I have it right! You are allowing the large weight
to hold the
line to the lake bottom and using the smaller sinkers
to pull the bait
downward with much a quicker reaction, as you shake
your rod or raise and lower your
rod position. This is a good presentation. We know
of a product that we
are possibly going to market, that accomplishes this
action, much more
controllable and efficiently. It will blow you away!

apt to snag than the
traditional bullet weights and they allow me to adjust
the distance between
the weight and the hook in just seconds as compared
to having to completely

The MOJO rig is still my go to rig! On those really
tough days I know that
if i need that one bite it will come on a MOJO splitshot
rig. I like to rig
using 4-6lb test 1/0 hook and either 1 or 2ea 1/8
ounce MOJO weights. I
secure them together with one piece of rubber making
them stay put yet flex
thru the rocks and brush. If I think the fish are
a little more active I
will only secure the weight closest to the hook so
that they will bang
together while being fished.
A bead may be added between the 2 weights. These
rigs have saved my bacon
many times over the last couple of years. If you are
a split shotter or a
drop shotter you owe it to yourself to try them. If
not, that bite you
really really needed.....he's probably in my livewell!!

SUBJECT: Flipping a Mojo Drop Shot
Well, down here in Texas the fishing is getting better
and better as the fall season takes its toll on the
big largemouth, and the patterns you start to see
resemble that of a spring time situation. The larger
bass are holding tighter to heavy cover and are easily
past up by spinnerbait chunking anglers. When you
think of your traditional heavy cover baits, you may
put in that catigory; jigs, tubes and maybe a good
ol' fashioned texas rigged worm. But try this one.
Set up a Mojo drop shot rig using a shorter leader,
one only about 4 inches long, use a 2/0 off set shank
worm hook to keep from getting hung up as much. I
use Mustad Ultra-Point hooks for there strength. And
throw on your softplastic of choice. I've found that
the Lake Fork Trophy Bait & Tackle ringfrie does
a great job for any type of drop shotting. Also, make
sure you use a weight that's strong enough to push
through that cover, like a 3/8. That should give you
a compact little presentation. Keep in mind, this
is not a spinning reel set up. Use your flippin' and
pitchin' poles. These fish you put this infront of
have seen jigs all day. Give 'em somethin' different.
Good fishin'

Hi Guys!
I'm not sure if you will remember me or not, but I
was down at the Bassmaster Classic in New Orleans
and I met with your staff there. The drop shot samples
you gave me to try out in Canada were nothing short
of amazing. I have never used any technique more effective
in finessing pressured fish. I outfished my partner,
a die hard tube jig fan, using salty tubes, every
time for smallmouth. The real surprise for me was
in shallow under docks for largemouth. I found that
I could throw up next to docks, shake the bait for
up to a minute and they would have no choice but to
inhale the refer. In fact my partner got hooked on
the rig when he caught an eight pound largemouth under
a boathouse. This bass was 26" long! That is
an absolute monster up here. Needless to say I am
totally impressed by your products. I'm really looking
forward to next seasons tournaments. When I was at
the Classic I asked if you had any representation
in Canada, you were going to look into it and I was
supposed to get back to you on it. I just wondered
if you had had a chance to look into that. I would
really love to be a part of your organization. I have
never seen any of your products in Canada and I know

SUBJECT: Mojo
Ive got to say this has been a great year for me!
I truely beleive that the Mojo weight system is a
very big reason for my success. There are several
products in the line that enable a fisherman to present
a bait to the fish in all kinds of terrain. My break
off rate is about 10 % of what it used to be we I
was using other weight systems. The shape of the weight
allows it to come through anything without hang ups.
It gives weedless a whole new meaning. Rigging times
are much shorter than with other systems and success
is increased by the more time you are fishing rather
than rigging. Another thing I have noticed is there
is virtually no line twist caused by the weight. Twist
in the line has always made split shotting or carolina
rigging less that convienent. I can fish a split shot
all day and have a minimal of line twist and I don\'t
even use a swivel. I am convinced that Mojo is the
finest system you can throw. Thanks MOJO!!

I have been fishing for 20 years and fishing tournaments
for 7 years. Times are changing and as anglers we
have had to adapt to down-sizing and finesse fishing
more often. I have been fishing Mojo Lures for a few
years and I can say that it has given me another viable
option in my daily arsenal. These are two nice 3lb
smallies that I caught April 2003. I had twelve-total
for the day and 7 were over 2.5lbs. A few were caught
on the Mojo Sliders and the rest on the Drop-Shot
Mojo weights. Robert, you guys make a great product,
keep up the good work!

Once in a while, a product such as MOJO Sinker Systems
comes along with something you just can’t be
without if you fish for bass. Their weights help to
eliminate most snags and make it much easier to place
your lures right in the strike zone. With sinker systems
ranging from Carolina Rigs to the hottest new presentation
called Drop Shotting, MOJO produces a weight system
that not only works, it works better than any other
weight system on the market today. Go by your favorite
tackle store and pick up a MOJO System today. You
will see an immediate improvement in your fishing
and spend less time retying lost rigs than ever before.

I have already been using the carolina rig and cant
believe the difference. Running this weight thru rough
terrain such as timber and rock I have found that
the Mojo weight doesn't hang as much as the traditional
round sinkers. I have fished some pretty rough places
for the last 3 evenings and have only lost 1 Mojo
sinker! I have the confidence now to cast in places
I would not have dreamed of in the past and the results
have been overwhelming. Have caught 3 fish over 6
pounds and numerous fish in the 4-5 pound range due
to the fact I can now fish "all" cover without
hanging and scaring fish. You have a great product
and hope we can have a long relationship.
Thank you for creating the Mojo weight. I can assure
you we will educate and promote to all the fishermen
that we come in contact with either in person or by
our show.

i will tell you what, i do alot of dropshooting durning
the winter months
here in the california delta and i lose so many set
up to rocks or fish
runing in to the rock but with the rock hopper i landed
so many fish over
this weekend with this cold front on my rear, i had
to throw back some of
the nice hogs that i had, couldnt keep then in the
livewells, only because
of the hogs that i already caught, keep the products
coming, and tight lines

I have been bass fishing for 30 years and have tried
many types of new
products and systems and many never lived up to the
hype. I enjoy smallmouth
bass fishing in Wisconsin and experimented with the
mojo rig and have
enjoyed super success using a light mojo about 24
inches above the Senko 4"
rigged wacky style on a octopus hook.It looks natural
and the fish love it!!

Your weight system is very effective! I've been
using your weights on my
split shot rigs for many years. The weights are less
apt to snag than the
traditional bullet weights and they allow me to adjust
the distance between
the weight and the hook in just seconds as compared
to having to completely
retying the traditional split shot rig.
Thanks for a terrific product.
