Last Chance Bait and Tackle
You know, when it comes to
Carolina rig fishing, if your getting hung up
on the bottom, then your in the right stuff.
Recently fishing out at the new Diamond Valley
Lake in Southern California, we were using the
traditional egg sinkers and even brass bullet
sinkers, but we were getting hung up. Then Larry
From Mojo Lure Co. suggested we try the New
Mojo Rock Hoppers. At first I thought "What"
? Seeing how we have had so much success over
the years fishing all of the other Mojo weights,
from the Original Mojo slip-shots to their dropshot
weights, we figured, why not? So the next day
I had my employee Josh Moreno take the New Rock
Hoppers out for a little bit of field testing.
He was fishing with a buddy, Mike Wooten who
loves throwing 1 ounce egg sinkers AKA “bubba
rigs". Upon approaching their first spot,
Josh showed Mike the weights and offered a few
to Mike, but he hesitated. After about three
cast Mike was hung up, broke off and was retying.
He then slid a Rock Hopper on his fishing line
and hasn't tied on anything else since! Mike
was made a firm believer when it comes to the
effectiveness of Mojo’s unique and innovative
bottom weight systems. Mike now has a new Snag-less
"Bubba" rig. After seeing how excited
Josh was from fishing the Hoppers, I had to
see what he was so excited about. The very next
day we went out again and I was amazed at how
much you could feel on the bottom. The Rock
hopper is unique because it allows you to fish
where most weights won't allow you to. When
fishing the Hopper, you feel everything from
brush to rocks. When fishing it, you actually
feel the Rock Hopper Hop and Dance over structure.
Its off set holes allow it to sit on your line
in a vertical, straight up position at a slight
angle facing away from you and that's where
the secret lies. We have urged and recommended
to many of our customers to give- um a try.
After getting great feed back from all of them,
we are happy to say, I and my retail store,
Last Chance Bait & Tackle, are sold on the
Rock Hoppers as well as all of our customers.
They work so well we can't keep them on the
shelve. This is a GOOD problem to have! The
thing that's really nice, is that depending
on what depth and what structure your fishing,
there is a weight size for any and all of your
fishing desires and needs. “All in all”
the Hoppers are the best Carolina weight out
there and we urge you to try them today. “You
won't be sorry”.
