Posella, native of San Diego, CA; introduced to bass
fishing in and around San Diego, spent 28(+) years
in So. Indiana, Northwestern KY and MS after college.
During this time frame I was introduced to tournament
bass fishing, 101st. member of B.A.S.S. and competed
in a number of draw tournaments in various organizations
and was an active member of bass clubs in these states.
In 1986 relocated back to CA, primarily the Fresno
area after a 6-year hiatus from tournament fishing.
Upon returning to competitive fishing I became a
member of Earl Bentz' group w/Stratos boats and a
national pro-staff member of OMC. When Earl started
Triton boats I became a member of the Triton staff
which included pro-staff acceptance w/Mercury Marine.
At this time I am still an active member of the Triton/Mercury
staff, plus staff status with Galaxie Marine, Mojo
Lure Co., Lowrance Electronics, Phenix Rods, Shimano,
Owner Hooks and Proline Tackle.
Currently competing in the North Div. of WON Bass
Pro/Am's and currently in 41st. place overall for
the year. Competed in my 1st. EverStart Series tournaments
at Clear Lake in Apr. and have entered the EverStart
tournament for this month at the Delta. I have pre-registered
for all 3- BASS tournaments to be held in Western
States this fall.
Generally I work 4-7 boat/tackle shows per year for
various sponsors and work the BASSMASTER Classic for
Triton each year.
