Bio
A life-long fishing enthusiast, I began fishing tournaments
in the amateur ranks in the early 1980's. In 1984,
I fished my first big tournament, the US Open. Placing
20th out of 300 anglers. I won several thousand dollars,
and was on my way to the Pros. I continued fishing
the western circuits until 1992, when I took time
off to raise a family. In 1998, I returned to fishing
in local tournaments, and with several excellent finishes,
I ultimately returned to the Pro tournaments in 2001.
Due to an injury, I was unable to fish in the 2002
tournaments. With a fresh start for 2003, and currently
fishing the WON Circuit - North and South Divisions,
I am in 3rd place in the overall year to date standings
after 5 of 8 tournaments and I plan on fishing the
BASS Western Invitational circuit and am confident
I will qualify for the BASS Pro Tour, aired weekly
on ESPN.
In my spare time, I enjoy teaching children as well
as adults fishing techniques, I have worked as a guide,
conducted club seminars and training classes.

I also do a lot of promotional work at fishing ,
boat, and trade shows for my sponsors. I have sold
many boats, motors, and products for them at these
shows as well as aided in getting the fishing public
a good look at their products. In the quest for upgrading
my personal fishing career, I have compiled this resume
to introduce myself and list my accomplishments in
the bass fishing world. I would like for it to be
known that I only have a few sponsors and that is
for good reason. I have had many opportunities to
be on pro-staffs and field testing teams for many
products from boats and motors to tackle and I have
only chosen the ones that I truly believe are the
best products. I will not take a sponsorship just
to put a patch on my shirt or wear a hat or put a
few free baits in my boat. I must believe in the product
and I am willing to work for that sponsor by using
the products, promote them, and increase sales, which
in any business is the bottom line. 
My approach to fishing and my work ethic is intense.
I do a lot of research, check the internet, read the
papers, investigate the weather and the seasonal patterns
of every lake I am going to fish a tournament at.
With the plans of catching that one more fish that
it always seems to take to get ahead of the competition,
I approach the day with that expectation. I approach
marketing the products I am sponsored by with the
same intensity. I will go the extra mile to assure
a prospective customer of the positive attributes
of the product.
